Gordana Hržica, PhD student

Education. BSc in Croatian Language and Comparative Literature at the University of Zagreb, Faculty of Philosophy. She is currently a doctoral student of linguistics at the University of Zagreb, Faculty of Philosophy.

Scientific interest. Her scientific interest is focused on language acquisition, language learning, language corpora and tense and aspect in language acquisition.

Scientific projects. She collaborates in one national scientific project (Higher Cortical Functions and Language: Developmental and Acquired Disorders). She is affiliated member of one COST project (Crosslinguistically Robust Stages of Children's Linguistic Performance – Action A33), full member of one EuroCORES LogICCC project (Vagueness, Approximation, and Granularity - VAAG) and full member of international project of Austrian Academy of Science.

Published items. She is an author of one and a co-author of two book chapters. She published ten scientific papers, one of them in journals quoted in current contents/science citation index. She participated in several international and domestic scientific conferences.

Membership. She is a member of Croatian philological Society and The Croatian Applied Linguistics Society. She is a secretary of Department of Early Language Development (Croatian Philological Society). She participated in organisation of four international conferences.
