COGNITIVE SCIENCE

Cognitive science is an emerging scientific field studying cognitive phenomena such as perception, reasoning, thinking, emotion, language etc. It integrates research from different disciplines in natural sciences, social sciences, biomedical sciences, humanities, and technology in an interdisciplinary manner.

ESTABLISHMENT OF CENTRE FOR COGNITIVE SCIENCE

The Centre will combine and integrate the joint Middle European Interdisciplinary Master Programme in Cognitive Science (Mei:CogSci) and the interdisciplinary doctoral study Language and Cognitive Neuroscience (JEKON/LCN) covering a broader range of topics in cognitive science, bringing together research on the same topics from different perspectives.

This type of approach will make the Centre's facilities and equipment available to all interested lecturers and researchers, undergraduate, graduate and postgraduate students, colleagues from other universities in Croatia and abroad.
