Tempus Structural and Complementary Measures Project Specific
project objectives
1. University top and middle management (15 participants) will
understand the relationship between the concepts of staff development,
quality assurance and quality culture, as well as their role and
responsibility in this area. They will be acquainted with a variety
of organisational strategies and models for the management of
staff development in following domains: 1. learning and teaching,
2. research and communication of results, 3. leadership and management
by February 2005
2. Staff members with some previous knowledge and experience in
theory and/or practice in quality assurance and staff development
(15 participants) will acquire additional knowledge and skills
to become future staff development co-ordinators at their institutions
by March 2005.
3. Members of academic community and support staff (72 participants)
will recognize the benefits of staff development programs through
direct participation in the sample training seminar by April 2005.
4. Continuous cooperation between EU and non-EU consortium members
will be established as basis for development of specific Continuing
Professional Development programmes and their evaluation by September
2005.
